Thanks to all you lovely people who turned up in your hundreds to support our school at the Christmas Fair.
The Christmas Fair Team would like to thank everyone who helped to make it a success. The set up crew who arrived at 8am Saturday morning, all the fantastic class reps and class volunteers who helped set up and man the stalls and games. Emma, James and the Grotto Team, Sara and The Elfridges Crew, Mrs Taylor, Mrs Adams, Mr Hill and all the teachers who gave up their Saturday to help and the clean up team for such a speedy and organised tidy up!
Thank you also to our very generous sponsors Claremont Coachworks and Castle Wildish. Thanks to everyone who donated a raffle prize or helped sell tickets, all our cake bakers and to everyone who donated sweets, bottles, prizes, books, DVDs and treasure jars - it is very much appreciated!
Raffle prize winners will be notified via your child's class in the next few days.
Christmas Cards
The card company have confirmed that orders will be arriving at school this week – hooray!
Whilst we haven’t been able to specify a delivery date, the card company will notify us the day before delivery. We have a crack team of FoBS elves on standby, ready to sort and distribute orders to teachers to send home with the children.
We’re all super excited to receive our orders but please bear with us while we wait for our delivery date. We’ll get the cards out to you as soon as we can.
Looking forward to 2019
Don’t forget we’d love to hear from you with your ideas on what we should raise funds for in 2019. We’ve had some fantastic contributions already, please keep them coming. Send your ideas to treasurers@friendsofburhillschool.co.uk by 7th December.
We'll review all the ideas with Mrs Taylor and taking cost and practicality into consideration put together a shortlist. We’d then like to ask you to vote online for your preferred idea. Details to follow.
