Hello on this windy, wet Sunday evening! Here's your FoBS round up for this week... Burhill Brits 2019 Firstly a big thank you from the Ball Committee for all your generous donations from Friday's Mufti Day - your support is very much appreciated! Not long to go now until the big event but in the meantime, for all the latest gossip and up to the minute info on the Ball please join the Facebook group Burhill Ball 2019 Facebook Page Strictly Beauty & Bling Evening Preparations are well under way so look out for flyers coming home this coming week. Tickets will be limited so don't delay in returning your slips to secure your place on what is sure to be another blingtastic evening of frocks, pampering and secrets from behind the scenes - don't miss out! Volunteers WhatsApp Group FoBS need your help across a variety of activities within our school, whether it's organising an event, running a stall, helping sort second hand uniform donations or serving refreshments at parents' mornings or school discos, without our volunteers we couldn't run these events. Even if you can only spare half an hour of your time, it all makes a difference. If you'd like to help, why not join our Volunteers WhatsApp Group and we'll put a shout out when we need help - if you're available, just let us know! Just reply to the usual FoBS email address and include your name, child's class and year and your phone number. The Greatest Summer Fair! Ta-dah! We're delighted to announce that this year's summer fair theme will be 'The Greatest Showman' and preparations are now under way - a huge thank you to the superstars who have stepped forward to make sure this happens ... you know who you are! But we still need MORE volunteers to help run the fair this year! Please get in touch if you'd like to help - it's set to be a brilliant circus-themed day for the children and it's always a super fundraiser for our school. Remember - it's never to early to start saving those jam jars for the ever popular treasure jar stall! Old Pound Coins If you happen to have the odd old pound coin lying around at home and you know you'll never get round to taking it to an old fashioned bank, you know, the ones on the High Street with a counter and real people in it (!), then why not donate to them to FoBS - just drop them in to us via the school office - every little helps!
