Happy New Year! Welcome to your first FoBS update of 2020 - we hope you had a wonderful Christmas break. Here we go with our first lot of info for the new term:
Burhill Bees - Our school apiary featured in the Spring edition of the PTA+ magazine (a photo of the article is attached)! If you'd like to help with the Burhill Bees (no experience necessary) then please email Charlotte at charlotteelock@hotmail.com
Tea Towels - We have a small number of tea towels for sale left over from the 2019 fundraising project. All year groups are still available apart from Year 2. If you missed out last year and would like to order a tea towel then please get in touch by replying to this email with your child's name and class and the year group you require. Each towel costs £4 each which drops to £3.50 each for orders of 4 or more.
Next FoBS Meeting - The first FoBS meeting of the term will take place from 9am on Friday 17 January in the Children's Centre. Please do try to make it if you can - we would love to see you!
FoBS Volunteers WhatsApp Group - If you think you might be able to spare a bit of time occasionally, even if it's only half an hour, why not join our Volunteers WhatsApp Group? Whenever we need people to lend a hand, be it helping to supply refreshments at a meeting or delivering leaflets to advertise our events, we post to the group and if you're available, you just let us know. No pressure! To join the group, simply reply to this email and include your name, child's name and class and your phone number.
