GET INVOLVED

We really value our families and could not achieve what we do without their help!

Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

  • Volunteering to be a Class Representative or Committee Member.

  • Coming to our friendly monthly meetings to share your ideas and opinions and help decide what the money we raise is spent on.

  • Collect jars throughout the year then fill them with goodies for the Christmas and Summer fairs. Donate your unwanted gifts, toys and books, and outgrown school uniform. We usually ask for donations of bottles and chocolates for our tombola. We are always extremely grateful to receive donations for our fundraising events.

  • ‘Admin’ tasks such as allocating event tickets and compiling guest lists, managing a fundraising craft activity, writing questions for a quiz night, organising a costume swap, wrapping gifts, putting up Christmas decorations, updating the website and social media, maintaining an asset and stock list of supplies, buying supplies for events, and so much more!

  • Offering to help with events, either in the lead up to the event, helping to set up or clear away on the day, or running a stall or activity during the event.

  • Baking cakes or dress up as a character for a themed event – we always need a Santa at the Christmas Fair!

  • Do you have any contacts or skills we could use? Face-painting, craft making, baking – or could you persuade local businesses to sponsor our events or donate raffle prizes? Does your employer offer a matched fundraising scheme? Everything is potentially valuable to us.

Keep an eye out for our helpful monthly newsletters distributed alongside the school newsletter, to keep you updated.
