ABOUT FRIENDS
The Friends of Burhill School is a PTA (Parent and Teacher Association) which organises events, socials and fundraising opportunites. These are outside of the usual school hours and provide a sense of community, a lot of fun and additonal funds to support the children of Burhill.

Anyone can get involved in a PTA

You can get involved as much or as little as you want and leave when you need to.

You can gain experience to get back into work or improve your CV

There is much to running a PTA - but that doesn't mean you have to DO much!

Many hands make light work, and that is why volunteering just a small amount of your time can make a huge difference.
Those involved are so diverse that it is hard to profile a typical person. Take a look at our Get Involved page to see the variety of roles we have need help with.
